If you want to record and pay all receivables by invoice set this field to Y. By default the 'Balance Forward' system of accounting is used. Current activity is printed on the statement in detail. Payments for a balance forward account are applied 'to the account'. Payments to an open item account are applied to each invoice individually. Accounts Receivable allows you to choose the best method for each customer -- you make the choice -- balance forward or open item, by customer. |
